Cats on roof in snow Sentinels watching looking Without open eyes The jet flies, the governor's course set to adultery. Cat slips on frozen Snow, claws grip the edge, below A fire awaits..... fate Death takes the pilot, In midair the governor Yearns...jet burst apart Cat's grip is weak claws strip falls Clings to governor's carcass Taxpayer's buy a New plane, and ex-wife's dreams flow... Especially like the closing, daughter. If I had another go I would have Congress to come up with a fireproof cover to you know where... the politicians entance...you know they'll get to the one for everyone else next session. Mom

Wow! You and Sara work marvelously together. I really like the way this poem takes us back and forth from the rooftop cats to the adulterous governor. And so clever of you to add that the taxpayers end up footing the bill. Love, Carolyn
