My grandma had a rug that was unraveling and the beauty of it was fading away. I remember that rug and this poem brought it back to mind. -Boo

Raul ,Thank you for welcoming me to Poetry Soup and for commenting on my "Nectar Of Life" poem. Now < your senryu is something I really do like. I also do Oriental forms and really savor the simple words that have a meaning ; and sometimes if pondered more than one meaning. This senry is a wonderful example. Raul, memories are such precious posessions, aren't they? Nice Haiku! And I'm glad you share my sentiments regarding Robin Gass's Footles. She certainly is quite a talent.
