Untitled

As the life slowly drains
From what's left of me
I think of what has happened,
What hasn't,
And what's left to be.
I feel that a point has been reached
A deeper understanding
Of who i am
And of what life wants from me.
Time is passing quicker
Still so much to be done
I can feel myself getting weaker
There is just no love.
No love for life,
No love for anything,
So i now wonder
what's the point really?
Why am i even here?
To the point where i don't even exist
Almost nothing to be left
Everything ends with and understanding
And a purposeful death..

There is always tomorrow. The darkness goes away and the sun shines in. I like the flow of the words and the essence of the poem. Great job and keep writing! ~Joseph
