Until We Meet Again
When you passed, it hit me hard,
Made me realize time is short and goes too fast.
Life can be lost like the flick of a card,
Moments we thought would always last.
But you chose to go, to be free from the pain,
To fly high with your heart held high again.
No more suffering, no more strife,
Only peace beyond this life.
Life is so precious and far too short,
Yet you lived a life full of love and support.
Three beautiful children, hearts full of gold,
A story of warmth and love to be told.
We watched you fight, we saw you smile,
Holding on with grace all the while.
But the weight was heavy, the road too steep,
So you closed your eyes and found your peace.
Now you're gone, yet never too far,
A guiding light, our brightest star.
Your laughter echoes in the breeze,
Your love still lingers in the trees.
The days move on, but something’s missing,
A space that no one else can fill.
I carry you in every heartbeat,
In quiet nights so deep and still.
We miss you more than words can say,
Yet in our hearts, you'll always stay.
And as we walk this path anew,
We carry the best of you.
So when we look up to the sky,
We’ll see your wings soaring high.
No longer bound by pain or fear,
Always watching, always near.
