Unshackle My Verse
Most truest and natural expression of feelings
is by art and for me its poetry.
I paint my feelings with the colors of words,
on the canvas of heart.Poetry gives me the freedom,
the wings to fly anywhere.
It's a soulful song which soothes the mind.
It's my solace,which comforts me like a mother,
loves and fights like a sibling.Brings a smile,as when i
see someone special.
And what if the poetry is made illegal???
Our past would have been incomplete and with
dark spots and so would be the coming future.
How would they punish us??Make us not write?
but they originate in the heart.
Then beauty would be chipped away into pieces,
a heartache which will seep into the soul.would
be like drowning in the ocean and gasping for air.
Without poems,we would have lost great art ,
how would we express our deepest thoughts ?
we would have lost words,which
gave us the courage,inspiration,love,fearlessness etc.
the language would have been like garden without flowers,
seasons without rains,flowers without fragrance.
I would still write poems,its a part in me, which no law can take away.
would make sure that everyone reads poems which will make
more poets.
Ideal punishment would be to be made to read
and write poems.
And read them out loud to people,make them feel the power
and warmth.
and make them fall in love with poetry.
poetry is not just words thrown randomly,
a string which connects the hearts,hugging a
baby close to the heart.
