Unlove Spoke
"We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are."
-Anaïs Nin
What a world I invented
with a love all its own
through my eyes demented
to a fantasy home.
My heart couldn’t fathom
the reality of
an absent item
the presence of love.
I saw what I thought
and heard what I could.
My mind simply bought
what a lonely woman would.
Stars twinkled madly.
Rooms were rosy pink.
Unlove spoke so sadly
nothing I would think.
