Universe
Millions of galaxies with colors shining bright
Distances can only be measured in light years
Celestial bodies in clusters of light
Making their orbits around massive spheres
There are huge stars somewhere out there
That may one day implode
Its brilliant brightness will take a while to disappear
Just a fraction of many an episode
The Earth is just a small part of this vastness
And we are but a speck in the scheme of things
Earth orbit around the sun to express
That time has come full circle, what joy it brings
The sun sets as the day ends
The moon rises as night descends
Stars begin twinkling from afar
It's time to wish upon a star!
