Unforgiven Circumstances

We can change our direction and our pace; but we can’t change our race.
If we want to change the world we need to unite as one, so let’s embrace.
Change is inevitable and is the start to peace and joy.
Fear of change hinders us as a society and that has always been a ploy.
Sometimes I wish I could turn back the hands of time.
This world still is color blind.
As we keep our faith and trust in Jesus we have no worries.
Ignorance and hate are still our adversaries.
These two barriers have always been thorns in our sides.
Since we have not handled these malicious words properly they will not go away and hide.
Our society is always afraid to notice the truth.
To experience lost and death is their only convincing proof.
As our lives become more complacent, assumptions will continue to be made.
Let’s not forget that our sins and transgressions were already paid.
We have to constantly conquer with Love, and yield to hate.
Are we going to let narrow-mindedness determine our fate?
I pray that you teach them Lord you made us all the same,
Help them to learn tolerance, and forgiveness in place of blame.

"We can let circumstances rule us, or we can take charge and rule our lives from within." Nightingale, Earl

"It's not the events of our lives that shape us, but our beliefs as to what those events mean."
 Robbins, Anthony

"It is not the situation that makes the man, but the man who makes the situation.” Robertson, Frederick W.
