Unforgiven

my best friend and I believed one day we would be golden girls cruising all over nothing I was cast in a role as the unforgiven despite my attempts at reconciliation . . . her indignation though I felt hurt too I was willing to forgive and to say sorry our beach dreams destroyed if only she knew how to forgive and forget Written Aug. 20, 2016 for Laura Loo's Forgiveness Senryu Contest

Hi Andrea, an excellent write on the theme.Once more, a belated congratulations on your win in the contest. It is sad that friendships, which can be sometimes hard to make can be ended so easily. Reminds me of the movie "Beaches". My sister lost her faith when my baby brother died. She does participate in religious holidays and just read "Night" by the late, great Eiie Wiesel - who wrote about the Holocaust.
