Unforgiven

my best friend and I believed one day we would be golden girls cruising all over nothing I was cast in a role as the unforgiven despite my attempts at reconciliation . . . her indignation though I felt hurt too I was willing to forgive and to say sorry our beach dreams destroyed if only she knew how to forgive and forget Written Aug. 20, 2016 for Laura Loo's Forgiveness Senryu Contest

She has no idea how much she hurt you. I hope that one day soon she does forgive and forget, so that you may have your dreams together come true.

I completely missed this and many other contests, but relate to your Senryu, of course, others do, too, and we all think we share your role in the breakdown! A very good write, Andrea ... CayCay

Hi Andrea, an excellent write on the theme.Once more, a belated congratulations on your win in the contest. It is sad that friendships, which can be sometimes hard to make can be ended so easily. A sad tale of friendship ending, it is always sad when a friendship ends. Your chain of Senryu tell your story well Andrea. A wonderful write Andrea, well thought out. This has to be a seven. Hugs....Mike. XX

There is nothing like forgiving and forgetting the bitterness, which often restrain us not to forgive as a human nature. You have captured this wonderful beauty very nicely in this sweet little write. Hearty congratulations on your win dear friend. Love and best wishes always. Ravindra K Kapoor

Sometimes it is not 'two-sided' Andrea. But the forgiving ones are blessed in the end. Congratulations on your 2nd Place win. Hugs, Sandra

Reminds me of the movie "Beaches". My sister lost her faith when my baby brother died. She does participate in religious holidays and just read "Night" by the late, great Eiie Wiesel - who wrote about the Holocaust.
