UNFINISHED
It was 9/11/2001 on a still summer day with clear skies and sunny
The start of a beautiful day of goodness
No one expected that dooms day minute
Downtown New York City in the Wall Street area being attacked by two passenger Jetliners that caused the Twin Towers to be destroyed from their foundations
Workers on various floors loss their lives or was able to escape the ordeal and survive
It’s not something to just forgot
The episode is like an unfinished book Chapters of why?
It felt like the end of time
A world in turmoil, corrupt and uncertainty
People running everywhere to escape
It seemed like a dream, but it was reality of a circumstance that shouldn’t have happened
It all occurred in a flash
I remember seeing one of the planes hit Tower 2
I witnessed it on the 14th Floor of my Office Tower in the Midtown area
I had gone a job interview two weeks before applying for a position in Tower One on the 96th Floor for MARSH & MCLENNAN, INC.
However, the company never called
It wasn’t my time
I see it as God’s Grace and Mercy
The blessing it was
We have no control over cause and effect
Ashes mounted everywhere
But we rose better than before
Memories will always be in all of us
Honoring all the people losing their lives including the Respondents in that horrifying experience
They may not be with us in the flesh, but their soul’s surround us in renewed strength
Today was yesterday but tomorrow is onward and upward no matter what.
