Unexplained Darkness

The darkness on the ground A shadow covers all It's cause cannot be found What goes on in the shade Without knowing what is there No mind can continue it's thought Without knowledge there is a fear The mind cannot think of anything but The two unknowns that can't be seen What is there and why is it too dark to see? Where did this shadow come from? There is nothing there Why is this darkness here? Frustrated looking all around In the sky there is a ring of light Immediately looking away The sight of the ring caused pain Soon the light would return The shadow is lifted everything can be seen But not to eyes that saw the ring
