Uneasy

Deep within the halls of despair awaits a dream disguised as a nightmare.
Black as the night or bright as the day, unforgiven passion burns as though a summer day.
Relentless was the crow upon the grave of innocence that proved too gullible to survive winters wrath

I love this line most, it is deep. “Black as the night or bright as the day, unforgiven passion burns as though a summer day.”

Hi Michael, your poem is small but powerful. Sometimes life can be so harsh. Often our dreams turn into nightmares as fate is cruel and mischievous. Thanks for visiting my page.
