Understanding
I take the time
To learn and understand
To see your world
Through desert sand
As fate may seem
We're meant to be
I question the intentions
You have for me
As the sunshine comes
To form your hand
Your heart
Still distant
So reluctant
To understand
That I may be
The one for you
The only one
In all this land
That would love you
That would comfort you
That would hold your hand
Maybe then
My heart you'll understand
