Underage Immigrant Crisis 2

Underage Immigrant Crisis 2 The problem keeps getting bigger everyday. It seems to me that it is everyone's problem. There are a lot of horror stories that are told by the kids that do make it here. Some never make it and their parents don't know what happened to them. A couple from Dallas paid a coyote $ 7.000 for one daughter and then another one to bring them here. They have not seen them yet. Other kids say that they go hungry for days until some of the people throw them food when they are on top of the train called ( La Bestia ) meaning ( The Beast ) They call it that because a lot of people have been killed, falling off, or trying to get on it. Sometimes they get to a place in Mexico that is run by a priest and there they get food and can stay a couple of days, than continue on their journey. This run by donations, but they are running out of food. They just had a meeting with the president of Honduras and he said that these kids should not go back, that the United States should help. What can we do? Mexico said that because of two derailments that happened in one week on ( La Bestia ) with more than 1.000 passengers - now no immigrants will be allowed in that train. The president is now asking Congress for $ 3 billion to combat this problem. I don't know if it will work, but I think that if we all pitch in a dollar, or whatever we can - it would help a lot... 07/12/2014 By Lucilla M.carrillo Note: I Just think that this concerns us all. This pains me so greatly. The kids shouldn't have to pay the price for this. I do believe, still, we can still make a difference somehow.

We, with hearts of fire and souls of mercy should defend and educate these vulnerable and talented children. This is a Humanitarian crisis that desrves National priority, lets not allow the hypocrites prevail. I've always been disturbed by how this world hates many of It's children, humans always dividing their love, their charity, their sympathy...good work Lucilla. Love is my only suggestion right now. Such a sad situation Lucilla and I am so glad you addressed it, we do sometimes have the same type of problem here with the boat people but not to that extent, that is shocking, I am surprised your government doesn't do something about it, at least our government have addressed this problem and a lot of it has stopped, anyway my dear great read, take care my dear friend....Vera............

There are more problems than solutions... My neighbors adopted from Guatamala and the red tape was incredible... That was 10 years ago..One solution is to make life better where they are now....better infrastructure... But that won't make the problem go away...Too many bad people with big money at stake...we can start by giving of our time and resources... Write congress...write the Senate...that's where bigger solutions can start...They won't do anything unless we are heard....thanks sweetie

- If nobody takes care of these children - it will become really difficult for both the country and the children - crime and violence - robbery and killing ..... a really big problem - however, children are innocent in my eyes .... to the contrary is proved - oxox // Anne-Lise :)
