Under Attack
Do this Do that
pulled in one direction
then another and another
overwhelmed
under attack
comes from all sides
a To Do list long as my arm
one at a time
knocking off
a few things
here and there
nothing earth shattering
but with consistency
keeping at it
with each checkmark
one less project
looms over my head
with each sigh
I can almost breathe
and forget the constancy
of me under attack
