Unconditional Love

A little story that was told to me, was how the name of dog came to be. God with his companion was walking through, the garden, giving out names, who was to be who? When at the end, his companion asked "what about me"? God smiled and answered, I saved the best for last, Dog you will be. I have thought about this and wondered why? "Man's Best Friend, I thought, my first try. I felt that there was something more. Something to do with unconditional love, I was sure. When it was created, it was the ultimate love. A true gift, sent only from above. It was so valuable, it had to be protected, but by who? God called upon the dog, and said it will be safe with you. The purest of hearts, is where it shall dwell. And my beloved companion, has served me well. A dog, is the only being, only heart worthy of, Safely housing, this most precious love. This is what I believe in my own heart. The story, made up, for the most part. But don't you think that it could be true? Who else to give, unconditional love to you?

You poetically said what I believe as well. My dog, "Bo" loves me effortlessly. And wants to do anything I want to do just to be with me

Thank you for stopping by, "Bo" sounds like a real pal. They seem to know what we need and when we need it. Give Bo a pat on the head and some ear rubs from me.
