Unconditional
Frustration
The quiet voice a warning
Red flags at first
Dreading the day’s random persona
Never ending roller coaster rides
Blue skies smothered by gray
Watching from a distance
The quiet voice a teacher
The red flags, the day’s lesson
Life’s chaos hiding a messy chapter
Leaving a shattered wake
Trying to fit puzzle pieces with no edges
Pretending nothing is wrong
I am willing to listen if you are willing to say
