Uncommon Courtesy

The bookstore door startles open with a man's hearty hand and sincere smile  landing upon this skirted lady,  bashful to be  coddled, but undoubtedly  wanting it. Mirrored cheeks widen   like the open door with hearts extending. Thanks is verbalized and humbly appreciated. He tilts his top hat and I am flattered by the flirt of uncommon courtesy. 4-9-2021

Wonderful... Though beware the wolf in sheep's clothing... You never know these days who's real or not anymore... I draw the line at touching. A tip of the hat, an opening of the door, a smile and cheerful greeting, even an innocent compliment -- all ok. But even a casual touch,... you never know... Just sayin' ~ gw

So cute a description of courtesy. I do not like when women protest this kind of thing (and some weird women do!)

Beautiful! I was on a celebrity ship where you could sample very expensive wine. You put money in and get a small sample. One man heard me say I would love to try one and he put money in the machine. I never saw his kind face and the wine was delicious!
