In 2019 a Pandemic they said Our world was turned around Countries closed their borders Life was in lockdown Life as we knew it Was about to change In a very drastic way This unrelenting virus Was determined to destruct and stay Rules and restrictions Were set in place Wash your hands Keep your distance Wear a mask on your face This virus found the vulnerable Who were unable to win the fight Completely running rampant A helpless, sorrowful plight Confusion and uncertainty Engulfed all mankind Panic, fear, apprehension Consumed every mind This virus was named Covid 19 It was highly contagious In order to win this battle We required a powerful Vaccine Scientists worked tirelessly But knew it was a challenging quest To conquer this unstoppable virus And put it to rest Our planet continued to be in chaos There seemed no end in sight No change, no hope, no help The future was not bright Months passed by Into a year There was word of a vaccine But it was yet to appear Finally there comes the day Covid 19 Vaccine Was on its way Optimism and enthusiasm Filled the atmosphere While tiny viles were shipped Far and near Covid 19 Vaccinations have started But it is going to take some time Before our world returns to normal And covid 19 becomes benign
