In a moment
Ten turns to twenty,
Then, thirty to forty,
Then, fifty to sixty…
In a moment…
Blessings are forgotten,
Sometimes simply ignored…
While hope is found in hearts
Who know the meaning of real love,
Love that abides in the soul…
Who knows the One who grows light,
Beyond the shadows, past the stars,
In the heart who remembers to give
Because, in Him, we can know how to live
In a moment…
Life can pass on by,
Forgetting that you’ve survived,
More worries than you can keep in mind,
More burdens than you can forget or retain,
More joy than the soul can sustain or restrain,
Inside, where the love is still the greatest gift,
The reason that life is still filled with tenderness.
In a moment…
Spring turns to summer, summer to autumn,
Then winter’s flakes blanket the earth,
But, throughout the seasons, without rhyme or reason,
There is a beautiful, a wonder, beyond the words…
The rhythms and rhymes that still the thoughts,
Color the heart in hues of laughter and melodies
Composed of gentling touches, kisses like breathless flames,
Authentic inspirations, stirring up the grace in graceful…
In a moment…
April erases the wintery waiting,
While September brings its best imitations,
Resilient sapphire truths, blessings
In life with secret revelations, sensations
Magnificent prayers, praising the One who abides…
Inside, arousing the light, penetrating the night,
Surviving the doubts, the fears and tears,
The temptations that try to drown out the wonder,
Capture the truth in the fire, surrounded by blazing desire…
In a moment…
Life comes to those who know,
It is only a moment in time, a moment,
Before this life is over and nothing can prepare
Those who hope for a more stunning truth
Than the truth that God is alive and He will never die,
He is alive inside the soul who believes and agrees…
With Him there is no reason for feeling alone or downcast.
In a moment…
He makes a way through the sad,
Into the joy, the love and the wonderful
That comes from knowing He is there,
Alive and ever aware… forever in each prayer,
He never leaves the heart down and out,
He reassures, comforts and prepares… He is ever
Listening to each petition with the assurance
Whenever we pray, He is there in the heart, in the soul,
Promising that His love will ever grow, His light will ever cheer….
Because He is, because He is near… we will never have to fear!
In a moment…
Love rains through the mist,
Forgetting, in a sigh… this is love
That is ever alive, love that comes to those…
Who simply believe in the Son who invites hearts
To believe and receive the glorious love that only He can bring!
In a moment
Ten turns to twenty,
Then, thirty to forty,
Then, fifty to sixty…
Then, in a moment…
Life has ended and real life is beginning.
Just remember that, with Him…
In a moment, we’ll be living together in heaven,
Where His light is everlasting, His love is unending, His grace is infinite.
Together, with Him, we will only know the undying gentleness of a love,
A love that is never-ending, a love that is continuous, a love that is eternal.
And a love that is ever with us, assuring us of eternity with One…
Who is light, hope, peace and more… He is the One who defeated all doubt!
In a moment, with Him, we’ll know the meaning of His greatest gift,
The treasure of heaven where we’ll never need to leave,
Heaven, where we’ll always be filled…
With love that never fears – love that will always be…
