Umnnloved and Unwanted

UNLOVED AND UNWANTED

An embryo is being formed,
in silence taking place.*
And then is heard, the word “Abort”,
what heard … was no mistake.

What child wants to be dismembered,
in the garbage be thrown?
Sadly unloved and unwanted,
by God only … is known.

A sad reality, all too often. When history is written years from now, the fall of American will be traced back to abortion being allowed as just another form of contraceptive -- murder accepted for expedience.

Barbara I have read a lot of your poems. I really like this one and was touched by it. Never fear to speak on abortion. It is of Satin and no different than what was happing in the days of Nimrod and the false god Moloch. They just make it seem innocent today.

Such a sad, sad poem Barbara, thank you for writing this. I am blessed with adopted children. I celebrate that they were birthed and filled my waiting arms with their sweet presence. I once had a doctor who did abortions for years until he saw an ultrasound of a baby during his/her abortion, the doctor never did another abortion after that. I've seen pictures of babies who were aborted, TRAGIC.

I agree it's sad. Shows no respect for God's laws or for life. I can't believe I have the courage to type such a poem. I hope it makes people think of what a horrible sin to commit. Glad you adopted your children, what a loving person you must be. Thanks for visiting.
