UKRAINE

You reign!
You do not fight in vain
Don’t let your strength refrain
Do not feel disdained!

I’ve seen the bloodstains
Spilling out like rains;
I may not feel your pain
But I see the slain
From missiles on your plains...

It’s sad to see you cry
When others rise with smiles;
It’s sad to watch you fight
Alone in your plights...

All I’ve done is pray
While the weapons slay;
I’m crying like a baby
Yet fleeing like a lady
I care but am scared to dare
For history thought us there!

As the children run
Teen-men uplift their guns
While the women mourn
When the shots are gone...

Hashtags everywhere
But no one out to dare!
While the worlds still watch
And say they love you much;
Yet, do not feel disdained
Don’t let your strength refrain!
Victory till again you reign...!
