Typical of the Third World
Entertainment in form of a blanket
webs the eyes and envelops the mind.
Hearts so charmed by a four-cornered metal;
pictures and voices creating an excellent audience
time passes, as attention is more enslaved
every perceived peak of excitement
is just a stepping stone to yet another peak
then all badly and abruptly ends
to face the gruesome truth
of the uncertainty from a notorious blackout.
