Wonderful Tyburn and tribute to its namesake ... I wrote a paper on this in prep school long ago, and found it fascinating. They were executing people for literally just "looking the wrong way" at others at the time ... it was mass hysteria. Nicely done!

Looks like a difficult poetry form to write--yet you came though with flying colors my friend. A gem is this one and I may think of writing one today, although not likely for a contest.

OMG, my thoughts echo those of the other commentors right before me. You really elevated this form by using the name of a city known for its hangings. I love this. In my opinion. This is the TOP poem of the contest. Just awesome. FAVE

Thanks, Andrea, without the subject matter I'd have struggled, to be honest, it's a difficult form to work properly. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else's at closing time. Viv x
