Two Triolets
She kissed me so sweet
I am light as air;
Where my two lips meet
She kissed me so sweet.
And the arms of Defeat?
Oh, I'll never be there!
She kissed me so sweet
I am light as air!

I sang through the night
And a bright bird flew;
By a lone lamplight
I sang through the night.
Though the whole storm's might
Tore the trees in two,
I sang through the night
And a bright bird flew.
