Two-Steppin

we're drinking our first long neck and our feet tap in time to the steel guitar and this music that is prime we're gonna dance all night cause tomorrow's a day of rest even if it wasn't we'd stay 'til the sun crests when me and you are two-steppin nothing gets in the way we worked so hard this morning so tonight we can play hanging with our friends at this country western dive you paid for the first one but that's the only one you'll buy this wood or is dusty and some guys are playing pool a fight will soon break out cause they don't play by the rules baby, when we're dancing nobody else is in this room we've just started the evening and it's over much too soon Buddy buys another round and takes Susie out to dance he asked for my hand for this one but you told him "not a chance" with your arm around me we're headin out to the floor the sun will be high upon us when we leave that's for sure when me and you are two-steppin nothing gets in the way we worked so hard this morning so tonight we can play hanging with our friends at this country western dive you paid for the first one but that's the only one you'll buy
