Robin Hood felt that he was doing good
Redistributing income as he could --
But the man in green tights
  Violated the rights --
Of the rich to throw away all that food

Yes, and how awful was that? Probably traumatized the poor rich dears.

Thank you, Jan, and congrats again to you on your win, way up there on the list. (I got dizzy, I had to look up so high there on the mountain from my lowly perch, and yet "Hope is the thing with feathers, perched..." LOL) :) gw

I was hunkered down at home, thanks... And just think in Japan, this poem would be titled: Two Lights Make a Long! :) gw

Hi Gershon, I like what you came up with for the contest. It was well written and clever. Although he was doing good he broke laws to do it. I looks like a winner to me. I wish you the best of luck in the contest:-) Alexis

Thanks, Alexis. You're right: he broke laws to get his way. Does that remind you of the Democrats and Republicans of today. The ends never do justify the means. Brutus and Cassius found out the hard way in Ancient Rome (when they murdered Caesar). Nothing's changed... Best wishes, Gershon

:) Yes, let's just call it income redistribution. Very clever punch line too, Gershon. Best wishes in the contest, Carolyn

Ha, Ha, -- I.C. sanitizes what is actually criminal theft, doesn't it? Airbrushes the crime right out of existence. It's the new American way, I guess... Thanks for the insight and for your support, Carolyn! :) gw
