Two Ribbons

Two ribbons
following
strands of her
golden hair
fall smoothly
from one big
perfect bow.
As she romps,
the ribbons
brightly swing
to and fro
as rosy
as our dear
sweet daughter’s
happy smile.

Precious write, Andrea. When I began writing my entry I couldn't get the lyrics, "take the ribbon from hair, lay it soft against your skin" out of my head yet I never thought to write about hair ribbons. Glad the idea came to you, the write is lovely. Love, CayCay

Sweet words! I like it! I await the Jewish holiday of Passover. Tonight is the Sabbath and I will probably watch services on TV! I had a poem in the NY Times called "Electric Judaism". Peace & Love Matthew Anish
