Two Lovers

Eyes like a clear lake,
reflections of a dreamland,
skylights for two hearts.
Walking amidst the cloud tops,
the light brightens up their day.

duuuude. this is phenominal. you have really captured the simplicity of eastern poetry. I have really come to love asian poetry, particularly from the chinese, but the japanese are great too. this poem encapsulates such a short and passing moment with such subtly vivid emotion
