Two sapling oaks in early spring Soft sage color their tender leaves wave Light reflects Verdant leaves intertwine in summer Their bond has stood the test of time What will gnarled limbs reach next When winter comes, and twisted limbs fall The light shines through and reaches brush Younger life must rise, life that's complex
