Looks as tho CArolyn is mentoring u on this one, James...that stirs my heart! First of all, I like how the 2 apples left the tree...sounds like 2 chickens escaping the roost..the other thing that I find enjoyable is that the sun is a polite observer of these events....If you are still polishing this, I will return to it soon. James. I LOVE this. If this is for the contest, Wasn't this to be a senryu? If so, just tweak it a bit to make it into one, but maybe you are ok. If I don't return here, it means you DO need to change to a three line poem. Again, I want to say, I really enjoyed this little picture you created!
