Twilight's Loneliness

The sun sets slowly in the distance, Bathing the world in a golden glow, As it disappears behind the horizon, Leaving all in a cool and lonely hue. As the sky turns darker, And the stars begin to twinkle, A sense of melancholy arises, As the night swallows the world whole. The silence is deafening, And the air seems to still, As if the world is holding its breath, In a moment of mournful respite.
