Notes About The Poem

Twilight Tapestry

Sunlight's golden threads were woven
among cyan silk waves of a quiet sea.
A lovely tapestry interlaced with pastels
at twilight as soft shimmering shades 
mingled their colors to fascinate me.

Tangerine cheeks of a dusky sky
blushed in peach when the sun winked
at the rising moon's glowing beauty.
It was quite a flirtatious scene, I think,
when observed with a romantic eye.
