Twilight Spreads a Lavender Dream

Twilight spreads a lavender dream
As sunlight slides behind the hill
When nocturns sing a first star theme
Twilight spreads a lavender dream.
Silver drips from gentle moonbeams
Onto the rose, a moonlight trill.
Twilight spreads a lavender dream
As sunlight slides behind the hill.

What a nice picture you painted as I listened to him. I could see it, touch it and almost smell it. I was left with a beautiful feeling. My favorite line reads, "twilight spreads a lavender dream". How beautiful!
