Twilight Serendipity

Listen to poem:
Written: February 10, 2024 ____________________________________ Endless void of shades A soft wave hides truths Nestled in an ethereal cover A celestial riddle sighed. Ethereal hues glide gracefully And fly through the night sky Fetching felidomancy and felicity. A subtle veil shows toughness It sets off under a night cloak Artly arranged apparatus Whispering tales of sadness Dwelling in a fugacious abyss A world engulfed in sorrow.   In gloaming, a gossamer glint A lambent sparkle of hope Heat harbinger harbor halcyon huddle. A burst of light will imbue dawn Above the waves, it gleams. Such divine, rending stillness A comely beacon of guidance Darkness yields to light The veil of mystery slowly lifts Admiring the allure of shadows The lure lies within its depths Start to enter a hidden world.   Abyss of desultory darkness Yet, it conceals tales. Hidden diaphanous wonders A special propinquity site Grace the power of the night Embrace the concealed radiance. Mysteries inure redolent gaze Uncover cosmic serendipity Peel away layers, one by one Eying surreptitious splodge of wonga. Gloom has wisdom and mystery A timeless vision on a canvas Possibilities are endless epiphany An elixir of enchantment Let's venture into the unknown.

A touch of Shakespeare's harbinger harbor & even Australian Aboriginal dialect with your splodge of wonga. You have outdone yourself with this one SP. Your descriptive phrases are redolent to a wondrous symphony of linguistics. Well done my friend.

Ah dr sotto, youv written so well as always, with such exquisite metaphors, alliterations wordplay to deliver such a descriptive and moving write. I absolutely love the way this flows too. Especially “ Ethereal hues glide gracefully It sets off under a night cloak Artly arranged apparatus“ how magical and surreal! What glows when its darkness, is somethint to be explored poetically and more and your wise quill always does that so very well! Such an inviting and soulful writt this is! Love it

A poem skillfully rendered, my friend. Such wonderful descriptions! You capture the reader from start to finish, Lasaad--In gloaming, a gossamer glint A lambent sparkle of hope---Darkness yields to light The veil of mystery slowly lifts--Awesome! And a superb ending line.

This invitation to explore the hidden crevices of darkness where diaphanous wonders lie concealed is so welcoming. We are entranced by your descriptions. Under the veil, ethereal hues glide gracefully. You have created a magic realm and its charms are so inviting !" Heat harbinger harbor halcyon huddle." What a beautiful alliterative line. I am sure, there is no one on par with your command of vocabulary. Dear poet friend, keep stunning your readers !

dearest Sotto--your poem had an air of mystery inviting the reader to participate in an unknown adventure. So many 'delicious' alliterative phrases and unique images. I especially liked 'a riddle sighed, a lambent sparkle of hope' and 'heat harbinger harbor halcyon huddle.' These lines are just many that reveal your poetic talent as did 'Gloom has wisdom and mystery.' We don't think of gloom as being wise, but it is. I'm awed with your poetic voice and talent. Your poetess friend in Texas, Sara
