TWILIGHT
A glowing Osprey swept across the fiery pond slightly teasing its surface, mosquitoes tumbling in its wake tempting the trout. An awakening cool mist lays a shrouded silence upon the shoreline. As night’s minions slowly assert their claim the gently humming bushes sing.
Ah, twilight, delightful dilettante, reciting your ever-changing vespers, whispering to the kiss of darkness.
nature’s lullaby
whispered to a fading day
dark wings awaken
