Twiddly Dinks

Taught by twiddly dinks
Your on the brink of discovering
that boredom has its own reward
It’s not what you think

There’s no get rich quick scheme
instead there’s a fiery end
for those who take
what someone else has made

When you open your eyes
you’ll see what you’ve missed
both the sunrise and sunset

You’ll find cool colors
from childhood, when
you step from your nightmares
back into dreams

Creamsicle swirls, cherry-red poppies,
a daisy-necklace meadow and
intelligent people -

you’ll no longer crave
the wasteland nor
the twiddly dink spell

Why do people have to be so cruel to take what isn't theirs. Or ignore what is around them to gain their own means with no remorse for what they've done.
