Turning Tricks Under the street light, clothes clinging skin tight, stuffing a war of dollar-bills beneath her shirt. Waves when you pass by, smiles when she cries, “Man do you want some company for an hour.” Not afraid of getting caught, case she knows she can beat the rap. Makes a good man scream and swear when she lays her head in your lap. Unashamed, she’s in control, she’ll take you for a wild ride. Makes you think you’re seeing God, awakens something deep inside. A smile when she’s done, makes you pay for fun, puts on a show that you Just want to see again. Slowly she walks off, leaves you feeling shot, but it’s the kind of tired that you know you love. You walk home flying on air, thinking of what you’ve just scored. Never mind the right or wrong, you just know that you want some more. Undeterred you’re planning to get hands back on her body tight. So caught up that you never know Her pimp beats her to death that night. Oh…
