Trying To Get It: Whatever That Means

The abrupt dissonance caused a mental breakdown 
Father was never in his life
The streets played the role of caretaker 
Homelessness became his ultimate attire 
Often, a square peg in a round whole 
The grinding lead to a friction like no other 
Bottom is reality, top is but a dream
