Trying Times
Yes, it seems some days that our country is unraveling before our eyes.
Yes, Trump continues to follow a volatile path that is impossible to explain.
Yes, the media likes to demonize Trump so we must sort and sift the news carefully.
Yes, it would seem that Trump adds to his own woes.
Yes, madmen do roam our streets and bring death and unbearable sadness to our hearts.
Yes, the fires and hurricanes have devastated parts of the country and left many homeless.
Yes, it would appear that our position as leader of the free world is under scrutiny.
Yes, it seems that Wall Street and American Corporations have sworn allegiance to greed.
Yes, there still exists prejudice within the minds of those that fear change and the rise of races of all colors.
Yes, hunger still stalks the alleys of the world and despair is its constant companion.
However, in spite of all of this there exists within the fabric of this country a spirit of good that will overcome all obstacles placed in our path and reset our course to one of hope and human caring that will vanquish the disciples of doom and evil and make us proud once again to be Americans and citizens of the world.
