Trust Ransacked

Brazen acts, once under cover of night
trust now ransacked in broad daylight

  Rape, armed robbery, carjackings
released from murky lairs on alien wings

Our beliefs torn asunder, the world upside down
no foot traffic seen in our part of town

Well stated view of the modern world we live in. This is what the world has become. Excellent. ZIM

And the world, as is, is not very becoming either!

Good Couplet poetry. Full of brazen needless behaviors that we have to live with these days. See you tomorrow. Bill

In the spirit of today's academia, I believe that these brazen behaviors are 'needs-based.' ~ Still Barfing

Used to, when someone said "catch and release" they were talking about fishing but not so much anymore. Good one, GW!

And I always thought it was hand grenades. Thanks for the fun comment, Daniel.

But Gershon, you must remember to "keep it all in context" according to the brainiacs at Harvard and Penn

Talk about brainiacs. Well, I would, but I never functioned in that context. Nyuk, Nyuk.
