Trust No One

It`s  difficult for  me to rely on
someone unless otherwise proven
Since I`ve been betrayed many times
It becomes tough to depend
on friends or relatives
without proper tests
to ascertain
their beliefs,
but not
now
Trust
no one
but yourself
I once trusted
but I was let down
My life was almost ruined
Framed for what I didn`t know
Imprisoned for  a crime not done
I cried! cried a million times to God
before I was released on parole..then..
