Trust

Trust Broken as the skin of my arms and wrists Show irreplaceble damage Damage I compare to the losing of a limb Or the permanence of a tattoo There is nothing it can do to clear its name Trust Has been unfair There's always been a foggy motive in between To go without the other Is to lose something you want or need I have hope In my survival I need not be reliant But dependent upon myself

When one is careless with the 'T' in Trust, all that remains is RUST, it could be bad. Brittany, thanks for the 'big meat' comment that you dropped in my pot on the poetrysoup. Much luv...

Your last two lines are extremely significant... Once you have been betrayed, it is hard to re-establish trust, with anyone. It is something that is so hard to forgive, and calls all our relationships into question. Well said, Brittany... Best wishes, Keith

So true!! I agree..I find it hard to be in a relationship at times because of trust!! But we have to know that in life there are trials and errors..we must move on.
