'The course of true love never did run smooth '
From 'A Midsummer Night Dream '
We dreamed to soar high flying on firmament
Thought throughout our life, we won’t be apart.
Romance roamed rolled rippled on commitment,
Passion twined with emotive urge of heart.
With fervent fervour, you dared to propose.
Life ought to be majestic marvelous
My ardent ardor honored your red rose,
Haply curtain of pain encompassed us.
Call of family claimed, forced to bid bye
Innocent helpless couple found no way.
We were never knotted with social tie.
Despondency in deep dolor to sway.
The course of true love never did run smooth
Whether to accept or not, that's the truth.
