Trouble of the Travelling Legs

Just when I wanted to... "Lord I beg,
fly me to the Londons Winnipegs."
Out came the Corona, its killer cold !
Said like a devil "you shut up and hold,
we don't need no trouble of the travelling legs."

Covid has doused the enthusiasm of all of us to scale distances.... ! Let the legs take rest for some time. Once the virus is defeated we can make 'sprint runs'..... But when? The question remains... lol

It is a nuisance -- become too political also. I pray you yourself are feeling well. The old school treatments I have found very helpful for me: breathing in steam, hot cup of coffee with a shot in it -- a couple of aspirins -- get under a lot of covers and sweat it out. Of course, this is all predicated on you being a reasonably healthy person to start with, able to to do these things safely. I am not a doctor, check with your doctor first. Blessings my friend.

Joe, it's just a fun write. I'm OK, I'm yet to be infected with Corona. A poem is interpreted in many ways by different readers. Political, maybe the corona provided them with the excuse! breathing in steam, hot cup of coffee - that helps. Thank you very much for your comment Joe. - Marshall
