Trigger Heart
Lung smoke and mirrors
shatter the wed dream with a bang
The lies become clearer
A hail of false bullet vows rang,
revolving deceit adulterously sang
Ring finger is missing sacred forged metal,
severed bond got an autopsy divorce settle
Trigger heart aim to fatal kiss the jugular hard,
life insurance has a messy clause
Joined together til’ death is the separating part:
cold cash on a barrel reload pause
Splatter the truth on a red carpet aisle —
love was just a paper mirage
Words of fidelity was deadly lead guile
Anniversary surprise
grants a devil cake death wish,
sent by Browning eyes
Bang, bang sniffs is the main dish,
amore stiff bosom of a frozen fish
Flatline sound of a trigger heart goodbye,
last rite tear click of an empty chamber cry
