Trick Or Treat
Careless stepping
over the sole
onto the tongue
taking foothold
tingling the leg crawl
bravery perhaps
unwise direction
the venomous creep
dreadful little faces
with large vengeance
fire-ants the masks
their own
next one’s privates
the thought
covered and bare
we all have them
both – denial no
protection
ring the ominous
and painfully dance, or flee
be called
chicken of the season
