Tribute To My Ex's

I never stalked you, maybe you thought I would Deep in my heart I thought I should But because of the law, I never would It didn't stop me, from using your name as code and looking back on memories that are old And no it never stopped me from thinking you were too cold Or still believing that it was unstoppable now that the story is told I love you and I always will That place in my heart you are there still My memory of you I will never kill But in a corner of my heaven a place for you I'll build.

True even when I lost a job…moved on. We all should…we take the better moments with us. God bless you!

A tender write, John, and emotive, as always... This poem reminded me of the song, 'They Can't Take That Away From Me', by Frank Sinatra...

This is so heartfelt. All my exes were simply guys I dated before marriage. It's nice to think back on the best of them
