Tribute To Garth the Great -Reversed Etheree

Garth Brooks, a wonderful singer is he.
He sways the crowds with his melodies.
The youngest of six, he began
his career by listening
to songs from Country’s greats.
To emulate them
became his quest.
Three cheers for
Country’s
best!

I watched a T.V. Special staring Garth Brooks last night and it was
simply the best. I hope some of you watched it too.

just reading your note to me down here. Yes, I am struck by the music on Nashville too. Those are good song writers they are using and I am surprised if their songs are not becoming actual hits. Wonder if they are. well, thanks for seeing all my recent poems. I gotta put a few of them you know where!!

gosh, I rarely watch a country music show like one you described, connie, but I love seeing Blake on the voice. Do you watch that show? What about nashville, the new series on tv about country singers? It's pretty good! I sure enjoyed a new poem from you today, sweetie.

Back when I was married my wife liked country music and at that time Garth was on top. I bought her one of his cds. Thanks for the memory.

Thank you John. I love and appreciate all kinds of music. I lean more toward Sarah Brightman, Enya, Alfie Boe, Harry Connick Jr. kind of music, but I also listen to other singers. I am just not much a rap fan. I want my granddaughter to appreciate all kinds of music so I play a variety at home when we watch her. Thanks for commenting on my poem.
