Trespass

Cross through tho uninvited
being where I shouldn't be
A glimpse of her eyes
tears mist
Sadness prevails
Does love need permission to begin
Is it accepted when ending
Her heart still broken
time never enough
Healing only with acceptance
a path unused
a trail grassed over
Steps still
memory closed
She gave up on love
her heart bled empty from sorrow
I touched her with a soft embrace
and for awhile melted the pain away
But I remain for her a stranger, not welcomed
for there is no love for the loveless
A shatter soul refuses to mend
I dare to be uninvited
my love selfish? longing? wasted...
It is said you never forget your first love
I only hope I remember my last love.
time can be unkind with constant sorrow
the thought of her crossing my mind
in trespass...
